There’s plenty to choose from, including eight beers on tap, local Fyne Ales, premium gins, over 100 whiskies, carefully selected wines and liqueurs, barista coffee and organic hot drinks. We also offer a great choice of no- and low-alcohol drinks.

ABOUT US
From Stables to Something Special.
At the heart of Lochawe village, Ben Cruachan Inn occupies a historic building dating back to the late 1890s. Originally built as stables for the horses and carriages of guests staying at the Lochawe Hotel, the building dates from an era when the arrival of the railway opened up this part of Scotland to increasing numbers of visitors.
In the 1960s, the building found a new lease of life as a pub known locally as the Tight Line. It became a popular spot for fishermen and visitors before declining in later decades and closing in 2010.
After years of neglect, the building had become a shadow of its former self. Seeing both its potential and the value of restoring an important part of the village, Ian, Tracey and Steve took on the challenge. In April 2017, the Ben Cruachan Inn opened its doors, bringing the building back to life as a welcoming inn and gastropub with comfortable accommodation.
Today, our guests can enjoy a relaxed atmosphere, locally sourced food and beautiful views across Loch Awe from the bar. In warmer weather, the terrace and beer garden are perfect for taking in the scenery, while the fire offers a cosy welcome on colder days.
